Cynthia and Tyler: A Very Dapper Day

    May 29, 2017 /

Cynthia and Tyler Ten years ago Cynthia and Tyler started dating. They were high school sweethearts and have supported each other through the high and lows of life like total rock stars. Cynthia is now a lawyer and Tyler will soon be finishing up his PHD in Organic Chemistry.  On June 15, 2013 Tyler took Cynthia scuba diving at Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu.  Despite it being a rough day out at sea Tyler went through with his plan and used his under water writing to pad to ask “Will you marry me?”. When the newly engaged couple made it back to shore they were greeted by their families with flowers and champagne…

Brigitte and Chris: Wine Country Wedding

    April 20, 2017 /

Brigitte and Chris: A Wine Country Dream Come True It all started with a glass of wine, a bubble bath and an OKCupid account. On January 23, 2013 Brigitte Cuff finally took the leap into online dating and created an account on online dating site and was immediately smitten with a handsome lad named Chris. He was a sarcastic foodie with a love for animals and best of all an amazing sense of humor. A year later they were shopping for a home to call their own. A home to share with their friends and family that they hold so close to their hearts. A home for their fur babies…

    Meet the Blogger

    April 9, 2017 /

As I was gearing up for my next blog post I realized that I have never introduced myself! Where are my manners?! Hi! My name is Sierra. I am an organizational freak who loves to travel, read, scrapbook, dance, sing off key, and binge watch cheesy television shows. Since I was in seventeen I knew wedding planning was my future. I received my bachelors degree in Communication Studies from San Francisco State and a certification in Meeting and Event Planning. I moved to southern California after graduation to be with me boyfriend (We are still together, 8 years strong!) while he finished getting his engineering degree at Cal Poly Pomona.…

Flower Power for your Easter Morning

    April 4, 2017 /

Vendor Spotlight: Meri Wagner Florals  The first time I met Meri Wagner I was impressed by the amount happiness that exudes from her. She walked into my clients bridal suite with a cart full of some of the most stunning flower arrangements I have ever seen and a HUGE smile on her face. She is sweet, bubbly, and extremely creative. In my line of work you meet a lot of people every day but the ones that make the most impression are the ones that love what they do. Meri Wagner is a florist extraordinaire and I am so pleased to share with you all some photos of her work and some…

Xenia and Eric: It’s all in the details!

    April 2, 2017 /

Xenia and Eric: It’s all in the details! These two lovebirds story starts in middle school. They were friends who lost touch and accidentally reconnected on New Years Eve in 2007.  A few months later they began dating on April 2nd, 2008. Eric proposed eight years later on NYE at a party he hosted with a Zelda chest. Inside was a red rupy (Zelda currency) holding the ring. Xenia said yes and their wedding planning adventure began! Today they have been happily married for a year and we would love to share with you all our favorite photos from that day! ___________________ Check out that ring fellas! 11 Tips for choosing your Wedding Flowers

    March 19, 2017 /

11 Tips for choosing your Wedding Flowers 1. See the big picture! Think about the entire event when picking out your flowers. I.E. If your reception is going to have a spectacular view then lower centerpieces are a better choice then high ones.   2. Do your research on your florist and then trust them. With technology there is no excuse not to do research. Once you have narrowed down your florist to a few companies, explore into their backgrounds and reviews. You should be able to trust your florist whole heartily! I guarantee this will take some of the pressure off of you as the time gets closer.    3.…
